Intent

Our Before & After School Club was set up in 2002. The Club is run by the school and a committee of school governors. We provide a breakfast and after school facility for the pupils of St Francis Primary School. Our Aim is to provide a high quality, safe and caring environment, that provides opportunities for active play and creativity.

Implementation

We have detailed policies and procedures, designed to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, including a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy and Risk Assessment. These are listed in our policies file and available for parents to read upon request.

Drop off & Collection

Children must be brought into the Club and collected by an adult. Please be considerate and collect your children promptly. Please note on Wednesday evening children should be collected from the Nursery entrance.

Persistent late collection of children will not be tolerated and a record of late collection will be forwarded to the committee. At the discretion of the committee, a fee of £5.00 for each 15 minute period after the end of session will be made.

Fees

A £5 fee is payable on registration.

Breakfast Club - £3.75

After school Club - £8.50

A discount will be applied for families with more than one child in the club. Extra discount for more than two children may be given at the committee's discretion. We accept Childcare Vouchers. (Fees are to be reviewed annually)

Payment of Fees

Fees should be paid in advance, but no later than the end of the week just attended.

If fees are not paid for 2 weeks then the child may not be able to attend the Club until the outstanding amount has been paid.

If fees are unpaid for 4 weeks this may result in the child losing their place at the Club. The management committee reserves the right to suspend or withdraw a child’s place over non-payment of fees.

If parents are unable to pay the full amount in one lump sum they must speak to the Head Teacher/committee in confidence.

It may be possible for fees to be paid daily or weekly, but only once an agreement has been made with the Head Teacher/committee. When paying daily or weekly fees should still be paid in advance, but no later than the end of the week just attended.

Fees are payable on the first day of absence and on all following days until notice is given to school or the school club leader.
